During their two-day residency at a participating NAP venue, each scheduled artist is available by appointment for private one-to-one consultations with individuals from the community. The consultations are free and limited in number, so everyone who signs up is expected to come prepared with an agenda for their hour-long dialogue.

Consultation Basics

Individuals may meet one-to-one with any of our guest artists or critics. You must make appointments by phone or in person at the site of each residency. (Locations and phone numbers are listed below.) Six one-hour slots are available 9 am-4:30 pm each day of the residency. Come to your consultation with an agenda. Consultations are informal and may take the form of a dialogue about your work; a coffee break; if you’re an artist, a presentation of your work, actual/ and/ or slides, video, or, if possible, a visit to your studio. We urge cross-disciplinary interests, visual artists with performance artists, for example.

Please call 610-683-6440 to set-up an appointment.
